Test Pumping

Test pumping is usually performed when you need to know how much volume of water is available from the bore whilst pumping, also if the salinity will alter during continuous pumping for a period of time.

Also test pumping is used to check the draw down of the water table so that the production pump for the bore is selected correctly. The length of a test pumping varies depeding on application but typically is 1 day, 2 days, 7 days or 30 days.
